About Me

I'm a fourth-year undergraduate student at Purdue's Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, concentrating in AI & Machine Learning and Semiconductors & Microelectronics, and minoring in Business Economics. Most of my work focuses on low-level systems: embedded C, C++, and SystemVerilog.

I'm particularly drawn to problems where compute constraints actually matter: DSP pipelines running on bare-metal targets, latency-sensitive and deterministic embedded applications, and hardware systems where software decisions translate directly to physical performance. I'm actively seeking full-time roles beginning in 2027 in DSP, embedded systems, AI/ML, and hardware engineering. Key industries of interest include big tech, defense, and semiconductor manufacturing.

My Story

My first memory of being interested in electronics in particular is taking the back panel off of my guitar amplifier and seeing all of the vacuum tubes, transformers, and resistor/capacitor networks, which then inspired me to learn how it works under the hood. At the same time, I was attending Upper Saint Clair High School in Pittsburgh, PA, where I was taking technical classes that reinforced my love for engineering.

I started my engineering journey at Purdue as a First Year Engineering student considering Nuclear, Computer, and Electrical Engineering. When it was time to decide what specific discipline I wanted to pursue, I chose Computer Engineering because I liked the idea of having a mix of the skillsets possessed by both electrical engineers and computer scientists. During the Spring 2026 semester, I signed up for Digital Signal Processing (ECE 43800) by accident, confusing it with Computer Design and Prototyping (ECE 43700). Instead of dropping DSP, I decided to stay with it, and I enjoyed it so much that it became my main inspiration for changing my major to Electrical Engineering.

Looking to the future, I am excited about the opportunity to develop low-latency, real-time systems for a company whose mission and values closely align with my own. More specifically, I am looking for an environment where my daily work involves developing signal processing and embedded systems that reinforce American dominance in defense, aerospace, or technology.

Recruitment Chairman
Phi Kappa Sigma, Alpha Xi Chapter
Led a recruitment committee to plan and execute recruitment-based events, coordinating all logistics, IFC compliance paperwork, and chapter-wide engagement. Directed multi-channel outreach programs targeting hundreds of prospective members through personalized messaging, social media advertising, and direct networking. Prioritized fit over volume throughout the recruitment process, contributing to a new member class with strong retention.

Brotherhood Chairman
Phi Kappa Sigma, Alpha Xi Chapter
Co-planned and executed a variety of brotherhood events, managing budgets and incorporating member feedback to drive engagement and chapter cohesion. Helped foster chapter culture by re-engaging inactive members, mediating internal conflicts, and facilitating recurring mental health discussions.

Beyond Engineering

Electrical Engineering is not all of who I am. Here are a few things I spend my time on outside of coursework and projects:

Music & Guitar
I've played a number of instruments throughout my life, but guitar is the one that I've liked the most and stuck with for the longest amount of time. Learning how electric guitar pickups, effects pedals, and amplifiers work is a huge part of what pulled me into DSP in the first place. I'm also in the process of learning how to produce music and have a long-term project concept around AI-powered audio tools.
Sports & Fitness
I closely follow Purdue athletics, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Toronto Raptors, and MMA. I also lift weights 5 times per week, run, and play pickup basketball.
Chess
I enjoy playing casually and studying theory. Building a chess engine in C was one of my earlier projects, which forced me to think about search algorithms and game-state representation.
Outdoors
I love spending time outdoors, whether it be hiking, mountain biking, or fishing. Some of my favorite places I've been are Vanoise National Park in the French Alps, Cinque Terre National Park in Italy, and Acadia National Park in Maine. The next places I want to cross off my list are Yosemite and Wrangell-St. Elias National Park in Alaska.
Phi Kappa Sigma
Active involvement in the Alpha Xi chapter at Purdue has been an indispensable resource for engaging in community service, participating in philanthropic events, and finding a tight-knit community at a large school. My leadership roles have taught me more about managing people than any class has.
Reading
I mostly read the classics, scientific literature in areas outside my expertise, philosophy, and work and business-related books. The most entertaining book I've read to date is Crime and Punishment, and the book that has had the largest impact on my day-to-day life is Atomic Habits.
